Summer 2026 Registration
Welcome to the new website of West Brazos Swim Team!!!
Registration will open April 1st for previous swimmers!!!!
Please do not register if you are new to WOTB. You will have to tryout.
Tryouts are April 18th from 3:30pm-4:30pm at First capital Pool in West Columbia.
At tryouts you will have to swim the length of the pool without touching bottom or sides of pool (25yards). Be aware if you are over the age of 10 you will have to swim two lengths of the pool (50yards). Also show us you know what freestyle stroke is. It is up to coach and board members who makes swim team.
Please let us know if you encounter any problems with registration.
We will be practicing Mon-Thurs
Parent meeting will be Tuesday April 28th at pool with swimsuits to try on. Bring your swimmer. Starts at 6:00pm
First day of swim Practice will be Monday May 4th!!!!! Bring Googles!!!!

OFFICAL TRAINING
There are two training sessions available, you only need to attend one!
Sun. April 26th @3:00pm at Live Oak Club pool (2902A Poppy st. Needville)
Sun. May 3rd 2:00pm in lake Jackson
If your child has been involved in swim for multiple seasons, please think about attending!!! We never have enough officials!!!
There is no fee to attend. This training if meant for:
- Current officials that want a refresh
- Those that want to become officials
- Parents that want to understand technique/DQs better

Information about Club Affiliations
The Coastal Cities Aquatic Association
The Coastal Cities Aquatic Association is made up of nine city teams on the south coast of Texas. The cities represented are: Alvin, Bay City, El Campo, Freeport, Lake Jackson, Palacios, Richmond & Rosenberg, West of the Brazos, and Wharton. This is a summer league swimming program for people of all ages. CCAA is a TAAF affiliate.
The Texas Amateur Athletic Federation
The Texas Amateur Athletic Federation is a nonprofit organization established in 1925 to promote, organize and conduct amateur athletics in the state of Texas.
TAAF mission shall be to create and maintain in the State of Texas a permanent organization representative of amateur athletics and/or organizations, devoted thereto; to establish and maintain the highest ideals of amateur sports in the State of Texas; promote the development of physical education and to encourage the standardization of rules of all amateur athletics, games and competitions.
The Federation shall consist of organizations of a permanent status that are active and interested in the promotion of amateur athletics and representative of one or more sports in their respective communities. TAAF is not part of the CCAA program but is an extension of swimming that is available at a higher level of swimming.
